Jenrick are working with a leading Food Manufacturer in Derby.They require 1 x Site Based Maintenance Engineer and 1 x Field Service Maintenance Engineer. They're may be some crossover between the 2 roles. Salary - £38 to £40k depending on experienceShift - 6am to 3.30pm Mon-FriThe Role Provide engineering support to the business to ensure that it remains fully compliant with legislative standardsProvide technical support to the projects team whenever called uponFollow Engineering Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)Complete the scheduled PPM's as they arriveDrive Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and support initiatives to improve efficienciesEnsure that the Retail Maintenance Manager is made fully aware of any maintenance issues which will significantly impact performance of the businessIdentify critical spares for bakery equipment and procure approved spares from suppliers, ensuring that best value approach is adhered toFocusing on a proactive approach towards manufacturing, to minimise the potential down time of equipmentProvide scheduled cover throughout the business to support production plans that minimises the requirement of call outsRespond to breakdowns and work in partnership with operations to ensure that all engineering works are completed promptly, efficiently and to the standard required by the companyDevelop planned preventative maintenance schedules for all key equipment / machineryProactively engage with all areas of the business to foster harmonious team workingActively champion & adhere to Health & Safety / Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environmentMentor and provide support to apprentices within the businessKeep maintenance logs and report of daily activitiesManage relationships with suppliers, service partners and contractors and ensure best practice is adhered toConduct inspections of plant and equipment that maintain food safety integrity and health & safety complianceQualifications Needed 17th/18th Edition Experience leading or commissioning projectsFood Hygiene Certification (preferred)IOSH/NEBOSH (something simliar, preffered)Working with PLCsJBRP1_UKTJ
