Commercial SolicitorCheltenhamExcellent £ - Flexible DOEMy client's Corporate and Commercial team are growing impressively, now looking for an experienced Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join the team to work on a range of matters including, but not limited to:Mergers and acquisitionsInvestment agreementsShareholder agreements and joint venturesCorporate reorganisationsEMI options and share schemesLLPs and partnershipsCommercial contractsDue diligenceYou will work alongside the Corporate and Commercial Director to assist development of the Corporate and Commercial offering and further enhance the client base.The Corporate and Commercial team mainly act for owner managed businesses and corporate transactions range in value from £500K to £25m. About 20% of the work is advising on commercial contracts which also have a wide range in value, subject to matter and complexity.You will be required to:Develop your own matter listDraft, review and negotiate on a broad range of transactional, corporate and commercial documents on behalf of clientsUnderstand and assess clients circumstances, their needs, objectives, priorities, constraints, providing the highest level of client careParticipate in the growth and development of the department and the wider businessAchieve designated levels of billing and time recordingProvide assistance/support to junior members of the teamAbout YouA minimum of 5 years PQE, although this does not preclude applicants with more or less experienceDemonstrable knowledge of corporate law, including agreements, articles of association, LLP's and partnerships and preferably knowledge and experience of advising on commercial contracts for the supply of goods and services etc.The ability to draft legal documents to a high standard with excellent attention to detailCommercially minded with a passion for business developmentA good understanding of risk and complianceEnthusiastic, friendly and positive with the ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues, clients and all those you engage withStrong organisational and time management skills, able to work under pressure to meet deadlinesAbout UsOur environment is one that is friendly, supportive, and collaborative.We also offer:A competitive salary, commensurate with experienceA competitive benefit package including pension, private medical insurance, income protection scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, additional discretionary leave, access to employee assistance programme and mental health first aidersJBRP1_UKTJ
